Damien Bonvallat studied at the University of Geneva, where he obtained a law degree in 1983.
After qualifying as a lawyer in 1985, he worked for five years with a bank and then with a major Swiss trust company. He qualified as a tax expert in 1990.
He has been self-employed since 1991, and sat as an assessor judge in tax matters on the Administrative Court of First Instance of the Republic and Canton of Geneva until 2020.
In addition to tax law, he is specialised in family law, commercial law and administrative law.
Damien Bonvallat is a member of the Geneva Bar Association, the Swiss Bar Association and the Ordre romand des Experts fiscaux diplômés. He is or has been a member of the committees of several Geneva not-for-profit associations.
Marysa Bordier studied at the University of Geneva, where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in law in June 2017 and a Master’s degree in civil and criminal law in February 2019.
She also obtained the Certificate of advanced studies in legal profession in June 2019.
In parallel to her studies, Marysa Bordier worked in a local law firm as a paralegal.
After completing her legal traineeship with MBLD associés, Marysa Bordier stayed in our law firm as an associate lawyer in 2022.
She is mainly active in litigation, in particular in criminal and family law.

Gaétan Droz was admitted to the Geneva Bar in 2009 after obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in law from the University of Neuchâtel in 2006 and a Master’s degree in law from the University of Lucerne in 2008.
Admitted to the bar in 2009, Gaétan Droz has also worked as an auxiliary clerk-lawyer at the Geneva Labour Court from 2010 to 2012, as an associate at the Chair of Criminal Law and Procedure at the University of Neuchâtel from 2011 to 2015 and then at the Criminal Law Department of the University of Geneva from 2015 to 2020.
He has been teaching at the Law School since 2017.
In 2020 and 2021, he served as a substitute judge at the Criminal Court of the Cantonal Court of Neuchâtel.
Gaétan Droz holds a certificate of advanced study in criminal magistrature obtained at the Ecole romande de la magistrature pénale in 2012.
He has also been a member of the military justice system since 2010, where he serves as an auditor.
He is a member of the Geneva Bar Association, the Swiss Bar Association, the Criminal Law Forum of the Bar Association and the Swiss Society of Criminal Law.

Yann Lam was admitted to the Geneva Bar in 2006 after studying law at the University of Geneva. After obtaining his law degree in 2009, he was self-employed before joining MBLD as a partner.
In parallel to his work as a lawyer, he worked as an auxiliary clerk-lawyer at the Labour Court of the Canton of Geneva between 2009 and 2012.
Since 2012, he has been a conciliation judge at the Labour Court.
In 2016, he obtained a Certificate of advanced studies in labour law and the title of SBA specialist lawyer in labour law.
In 2020, he was appointed by the swiss Government as Chairman of the Conciliation Commission under the Federal Administration’s Equality Act. He is also an expert in labour law for the cantonal commission according to the law on restaurants, bars, hotels and entertainment ans member of the Geneva Bar exam Comitee.
As a specialist in labour law, he advises and defends the interests of both employees and employers. In addition, he conducts investigations on behalf of clients in order to establish possible personality violations at work (mobbing, sexual harassment).

Manuel Mouro obtained a law degree from the University of Geneva in 1989 and a master’s degree in European economics from the University of Alcala de Henares (Madrid) in 1990. He was admitted to the Geneva Bar in 1991.
He is specialised in social insurance law, family law and the protection of adults and children (guardianship).

Marina Garcia Orgueira studied at the University of Geneva, where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree and then a Master’s degree in law, as well as the Certificate in Transnational Law. She completed her studies in 2024, when she obtained the Certificate of advanced studies in legal profession.
Alongside her studies, Marina Garcia Orgueira worked in the banking sector and as a paralegal.

Gérard Montavon began his career as an assistant at the Geneva Law School from 1963 to 1965.
He was admitted to the bar in 1961 and has been practising as an independent lawyer since 1963.
President of the Advisory Council of the Republic and Canton of Jura from 1982 to 1988, he also served as a substitute judge at the Court of Justice of the Republic and Canton of Geneva for thirty years and was a member of the Bar Committee for twelve years.
He was also a member of the Bar Council from 1980 to 1983.
In 2011, Gérard Montavon was awarded the Bellot Medal by the Geneva Bar Association for his 50 years at the Bar.
